Job Description
Micro-Tech USA is a multiservice IT provider centrally located in downtown Chicago with positions available throughout the city. We have been implementing technologies and providing on-site and off-site support for the past 30 years.
We are seeking a Desktop System / Level 3 Engineer to join our team! You will handle a variety of clients and projects to support, monitor, and improve the organization’s network systems. You must be located in the Chicago area.
Responsibilities:
Must be proficient in Windows 10, Windows Server 2016/2019
Must be proficient in Active Directory
Must understand how IP Networking works including subnetting and IP Addressing
Team Player and strong communication skills
Must be able to drive and have a car to use every day.
Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
Location:
Must be located in or near the City of Chicago
This job will require you to travel to customer offices throughout Chicago and the near suburbs.
A car is required for this position and mileage will be reimbursed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a network or systems administrator
Knowledge of TCP/IP and data protocols
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Deadline and detail-oriented
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
Not required, but definitely helps:
Understand scripting with Powershell
Strong skills in Linux support
Experience with Connectwise Manage and Connectwise Automate
Have certifications in Cisco, HP, or Microsoft
Experience imaging PC’s with MDT
